No matter the purpose of your meeting with Territory Families – whether it’s as simple as meeting a new case manager or whether it’s for a more complex reason, our Advocates and Carer Support Officers are able to attend and support you at these meetings. No meeting is too small or big. It is important that you identify to Territory Families that FKCA is your support network and keep us informed of any meeting requests. FKCA do not need to play an active role in your meetings if you do not require us to do so but we are there to make sure you feel supported and if at any time you need our help communicating your challenges or clarifying information, we are there to help.
We would like to especially thank our Carer Advisory Group members who have voluntarily attended meetings with their peers as another layer of support. The high level of support and community that our Carer members are receiving would not be possible without our Carer Advisory Group members commitment to ensuring Carer voices are heard, empowered and supported.
